Cash Ransome is a rock star with a bad reputation.
When his hard partying lifestyle finally catches up with him, his brothers and band-mates convince him it’s time to get out of the spotlight. A few weeks in the middle of nowhere sounds like the worst kind of punishment to Cash—until he meets Sam.
Samantha Warner is looking for something to distract her from the complications of her messy life.
When Cash Ransome shows up at her favorite bar, she figures she’s hit the jackpot. His reputation proceeds him, and Cash’s no-strings-attached lifestyle is just what Sam is looking for.
Spending time with Sam has Cash confused—if they’re just supposed to be friends, why can’t he stop thinking about her? And if he’s not made for commitment, why is he dreading the day he has to walk away?
Redeem Ransom Series Book 3 eBook Rachel Schurig
This one was hard for me to rate. I am so over the man-whore in romance books but Cash is your typical rock star and needed to be written that way. So that I get. Sam was...frustrating as hell.Eight years? Eight years and you still don't have the balls to get your baby back? Please. I'm a mom. There is no way. And her whining was a drag. BUT, she did get better as the book went on and I loved the way she handled their time apart.
*Slight SPOILER*
However...I'm sensing a pattern here in this series and it's getting old. Sleep with girl. Time apart from girl. Friends with girl. Start to like girl. Can't seem to just TALK to girl about feelings. Split. Man goes begging. (The fourth book is exactly the same. 3 out of 4, I mean, come on.)
The grammar and comma placement in this book is unbelievably bad. Which was surprising since the first two were good. Not flawless but good. But this one? It's incredibly distracting.
I will say that this book had me laughing. Not roll on the floor laughing but enough to think it was a funny book and enough to really like Cash. His personality isn't anyone I'd be attracted to but I did find him endearing by the end.
Would I recommend it? Yes. If you've read the first two.

Redeem Ransom Series Book 3 eBook Rachel Schurig Reviews
Wow. I liked the first book, that I got for free, that I bought the next two, to continue reading. Great characters in all books. Excellent development of the story lines. I laughed out loud, sometimes with tears in my eyes. Good writing, even with some typos and editing errors in the kindle editions. And for the first time, those didn't matter because the story was so good.
All in all, it's a great story. The characters are wonderfully developed, and it makes you fall in love with them. I definitely am ready for the next installment. But I can't give this one 5 stars because of the numerous grammatical issues.
I have read every single one of this author's books and she never disappoints! Although I basically had the ending figured out halfway through the book, it was how she got to that ending that made the book so good! I highly recommend this author's books for a good read!
This was the last of the ransom series. I would have liked to seen what happened with Karen, but she was hardly mentioned in this book.
The story between Cash and Sam developed well but this book wasn't as addictive as the other two.
Whole series has been awesome so far!! Getting ready to start book 4. So well written! So easy to pit yourself right into the story! I feel like I know these characters so well that I myself have a "backstage pass" into their rock and roll lives!! I have also read the 3 Girls series by Rachel Schurig and felt exactly the same way about them. Love love love her books!
The first two Ransom books were so good, I couldn't put them down. And then I started reading Redeem. It's like it wasn't written by the same author. I struggled through the whole book just to finish. The character of Sam was the worse. And the "happy ending" came out of nowhere. I would recommend skipping this one.
I really like all the Ransom books, but overall, this was my least favorite. It's simply a personal preference. There's nothing wrong with the story, it's fine. It just wasn't my favorite of the five that have been released.
But I still give it five stars, which means it's a great book. You'll fall in love with Sam and her son. You'll fall in love with Cash. And you get to see some of our old friends from the prior books, which makes it even more fun.
This one was hard for me to rate. I am so over the man-whore in romance books but Cash is your typical rock star and needed to be written that way. So that I get. Sam was...frustrating as hell.
